No. The whole app works without signing in: add stops, find pit stops and side quests, see costs, and export to maps and calendar. Signing in is optional and only adds syncing your trips and garage across devices.
Tap "Add your first stop" (or the + between stops), type a city, address, or place name, and pick it from the list. Keep adding stops and the route builds in order with distance and drive time on every leg.
On any leg, "Pit stops" finds the necessities (gas, food, restrooms) and "Side quests" finds the worth-the-detour spots (parks, overlooks, oddities). Tap the gear to choose categories, or add your own search terms.
Tap Share to copy a link that loads the exact trip for whoever you send it to. They get their own copy to edit; it never changes yours.
In the app: tap Account, then Delete my account. It permanently removes your account and all synced trips, garage, and shared links. Full details are on the account deletion page.
